Cooperation

The myMONSTER Client Toolkit was created and is continously improved with the support of two departments of Technische Universität Berlin, the department Next Generation Networks (AV) and the department Open Communication Systems (OKS).

Applications

myMONSTER is the base for a number of prototype applications developed at Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS. The applications demonstrated the usefulness of myMONSTER for the realization of domain-specific use cases and those spanning multiple domains at once, such as TV and mobile Web.

Telco Communicator Suite

It is a portable NGN client for unified communications and media delivery. It provides a java based framework that delivers a unified communication experience for all forms of IP based telecommunication – from Multimedia Telephony, to rich Presence, Group List Management, and push to share right up to media casting content. It is extremely powerful, yet lightweight enough to run on both fixed and mobile devices.
With this suite developers are provided high level APIs for easy integrating into their applications to enrich them with Telco aware services. more...


Mobile Web Runtime 2

FOKUS' Mobile Web Runtime 2 (MWR2) extends popular Web browsers with new functions. Application developers can make use of these function when designing Web applications and Web widgets for mobile devices. Taking photos with the camera, sending video streams from one Web application to another or synchronizing clients of application in real-time are only a few examples of functions MWR2 supports. The functions are easily access through a couple of JavaScript APIs added to those already present in all Web browsers.
